The judiciary’s March 2026 user group minutes describe the Midlands East region as based principally in Nottingham.
There is no official town-by-town list of which areas are sent to Nottingham. Your claim acknowledgement and hearing notice will confirm where your case is heard. Hearings are also held at Leicester. See our Leicester Employment Tribunal guide.

- If you need support, bring only one person, such as a friend or family member.
- You will go through a security arch or a hand-held scanner, and your bags will be checked. Tell security staff if you have a medical implant such as a pacemaker.
- Turn your phone off before you go into the hearing room. Taking photos or video of a hearing is a criminal offence. You can use a laptop or tablet, but there may be nowhere to charge it.
