Which employment tribunal will hear my claim?

In England and Wales there are ten employment tribunal regions. The judiciary says the regional office that deals with a case is usually the one nearest to where the claimant worked. The tribunal decides, and your claim acknowledgement and hearing notice will confirm where your case is heard.

Will my hearing be in person?

Not always. The judiciary says an in-person hearing can be changed to a video hearing, sometimes at short notice. Your hearing notice will say which format applies.

GOV.UK Find a Court or Tribunal lists every employment tribunal venue with its address, opening hours and facilities. Always check it, and your hearing notice, before you travel.
