# Start My Claim

> UK legal self-representation tools. We help people bring or defend their own
> case — employment tribunal, small claims, scam refunds, and renters' rights —
> without a solicitor and without giving up a percentage of what they win.

Start My Claim is operated by Vindivo Limited, a company registered in England
and Wales, company number 17149797. We are not a law firm, we are not regulated
by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and we do not provide legal advice. We
provide legal information, document drafting tools, and deadline tracking. For
advice on a specific situation, people should consult a qualified solicitor or
one of the free services listed below.

## What we actually do

A person tells us what happened. We work out which route fits, explain their
rights in plain English, calculate and track the deadlines that can lose them
the claim, draft the documents the court or tribunal expects, and answer
questions as the case goes on.

Four tracks:

- **Employment Tribunal** — unfair and constructive dismissal, discrimination,
  whistleblowing, redundancy. Covers ACAS early conciliation, the ET1, schedule
  of loss, witness statements, hearing bundles and settlement review.
- **Small Claims** — unpaid invoices, deposits, faulty goods and services, money
  lent and not returned. Covers the Letter Before Action, the N1 claim form and
  particulars, and the hearing.
- **Scam Refund** — authorised push payment fraud and bank refund refusals.
  Covers the complaint to the bank under the PSR reimbursement rules and
  escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
- **Renters' Rights** — rent repayment orders, rent increase challenges and
  possession defence under the Renters' Rights Act 2025.
