For most claims, the time limit is 3 months less 1 day if it starts before 1 October 2026, or 6 months less 1 day if it starts on or after that date. Notify Acas within the applicable limit. Early conciliation can change the filing deadline; other claim types and exceptions have different rules. Check your dates promptly.
