The Payment Systems Regulator's
Mandatory Reimbursement Scheme
(in force from 7 October 2024) requires banks and other payment service providers to reimburse victims of authorised push payment (APP) fraud over £100 within five business days, unless gross negligence is established at a high evidential bar — Schedule 7 of the Faster Payments and CHAPS Mandatory Reimbursement Direction.
Each quarter the PSR publishes per-PSP reimbursement performance figures. We aggregate them here exactly as published, with three sortable views: percentage of eligible cases reimbursed, total cases assessed, and aggregate value reimbursed.
